Files you process
File contents are processed in your browser and are not uploaded by the conversion tools to UbahFile servers. Files and results remain in memory while the page is in use; downloads are saved on your device. Closing a page ends work that has not been downloaded.
Favorites, history and language
Favorite and recently opened tool IDs are stored in localStorage if local preferences are allowed. Tool history contains no file names or contents. The converter_lang cookie stores your language choice for up to one year. Preference permissions are saved on your device and can be changed on the Cookies & Storage page. Personal presets store preset names and tool settings in localStorage (up to 20), without files or document text. Presets are removed when preferences are disabled or tool data is cleared. Dismissed quick-guide status is also saved locally when preferences are allowed. QR content and PDF metadata values are excluded from presets.
Continuing results and offline mode
When you choose Continue, one result is temporarily stored in IndexedDB for transfer between pages on the same site. It is read once and then removed. Tokens expire after 10 minutes; expired data is cleaned on the next visit. Offline mode caches pages and conversion engines, not personal files. OCR models may also be stored by the browser to avoid repeated downloads.
Connections and hosting logs
Opening the site, downloading assets or loading AI models creates network connections. Hosting and model providers may receive your IP address and standard request information, such as access time and browser type. Background-removal models may load from IMG.LY asset hosting. The background-removal tool does not send photo contents. Hosting log retention follows the provider configuration; contact us with related questions.
Email you send
If you contact us, your email address and message are used to respond and resolve the issue. Data is also processed by the sender’s and recipient’s email providers. Do not include unnecessary sensitive information. You may request review or deletion of messages at info@ubahfile.my.id, subject to applicable retention obligations.
Advertising and analytics
In this initial package, third-party advertising and analytics scripts are not enabled. If such services are enabled, provider information, data-use purposes and consent choices must be updated before serving ads. Local file processing remains separate from advertising network connections.
Controls and updates
You can decline local preferences, clear favorites/history, remove offline caches and clear site data through your browser. This policy is updated when service practices change. Privacy questions: info@ubahfile.my.id.
